The chef was born in Kazakhstan, a country of large diversity of nations and cultures (Kazakhi, Russian, Georgian, Korean, Chinese and many neighboring countries) and was exposed to their food from an early age.
Still rather exotic and not very well-known, people of ex-USSR have a lot to offer to any food aficionado.
